Pennant Hills station on Sydney's Sydney Trains network serves the suburb of Pennant Hills in Sydney's Hills District. Opening in 1886, this station lies on the Main Northern railway line. In recent years the station has undergone an upgrade. It has significant patronage due to the people of neighbouring suburbs Cherrybrook and West Pennant Hills utilising it. The station consists of two side platforms and two running tracks, the "Up" and "Down" Main North Lines. Immediately north of Pennant Hills, a short four track section of the Main North line begins which runs to the next station of Thornleigh.
The station is served by four trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours. During off-peak hours two of these four train services towards Central terminate in Chatswood.
The station is equipped with Easy Access for wheelchairs.
